Description
Deep groove ball bearings are among the most widely used approaches globally. They can operate at high speeds and carry radial and (limited) axial loads. They are commonly used in electric motors, compressors, fans, and conveyors. Deep groove ball bearings are of two types, as shown below:
(1)Single Row Deep Groove Ball Bearings
Single Row Deep Groove Ball Bearings are the most widely used bearing globally due to their versatility and overall performance. Ball bearings are characteristic of low friction, high rigidity, and silent run. Ball bearings are suitable for high rpm. These bearings can transmit radial and axial forces simultaneously. Ball bearings tend to have lower load capacity for their size than other kinds of rolling-element approaches due to the smaller contact area between the balls and races. However, they can tolerate some misalignment of the inner and outer races.

(2)Double Row Deep Groove Ball Bearings
Double Row Deep Groove Ball Bearings are very suitable for bearing arrangements where the load-carrying capacity of a single row bearing is inadequate. Double row bearings have deep, uninterrupted raceway grooves that have a close osculation with the balls, enabling the approaches to accommodate radial and axial loads in both directions. Double row bearings are slightly wider than single row bearings in the 62 and 63 series but have a considerably higher load-carrying capacity for the same bore and outside diameter.
